Or

I got this, and gets lots of mentions. Unlike the pic below the lume is quite good and shines green in darkness. in twilight there is a transition where the green breaks through the orange it becomes a funky colour!

In the end I got a Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph CA4037-01W for my boyfriend...

I bought it for $318 at bencoolen and comes with 3 years warranty...

I went back home and google and realised that it cost only SGD 219 on creationwatches....

Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph CA4037-01W

Not cheated, just didn't search properly before buying..

Just take it as a lesson and the + point of having a physical shop to deal with lo.. Plus the courier Creation uses sucks, in my opinion.. So don't have to deal with that..

Good choice btw

Dinner in Chinatown

What to order?

A good bottle of wine first

Lobster bisque

Some snails

Bone marrow

Lobster

And finally, some lamb
All in all, not bad. But not going back. Service is too slow and the restaurant was too hot. Couldn't wait to get out.

Market Grill?

I've been there about a dozen times, always positive experience.. But I will go early to avoid sitting near the grill towards the back.

I wouldn't say you got "cheated", just that you bought it from a seller who doesn't have the cheapest price.

thats a great pic!

i think it looks good on a plain black strap as it is- really accentuates the clean lines and great condition for a vintage. As an upgrade maybe quality leather with more expensive real leather looking finish with sufficient thickness and NO stitching like such:

Actually the strap I'm using now looks v much like what you mentioned. Has a very vintage feel , now after some thought I'm thinking if I should change it at all. One think for sure it's extremely loose.

I did go early at 6:15pm, but we did sit at the back near the grill. Mistake number 1.

Mistake number 2 was ordering the lamb. The other dishes came reasonably fast, but the lamb took 2 hours (they told us it would only take 45 mins). By the time it came (after chasing them multiple times), the restaurant was packed, it was hot, we were sweating, we lost our appetite, it was overcooked and everyone was pissed.

To be fair, the food was good enough to revisit. But the aircon and shortage of staff issues need to be addressed.

The shop assistant at the May May Watches at Bencoolen was nice though...explaining me about benefit of eco-drive watches..
and I heeded our kind hardware zone's advice to go for a watch makers instead of fashion watch.(so drop the idea of buying Armani...)

I tried to search for the similar model watch CA4037 in the Bencoolen shops, but couldn't find to compare prices...In the end because of the good service from the shop assistant and counting on the fact believing that Bencoolen's Watches are price competitive, I decided to buy.

In the end, what matters is that my boyfriend will like it.

Haha...:s13::s13::s13:

btw that whole picture is your entire meal? thats a big meal
Yes, that's my meal, for me only.

To be fair, that was after a leg day at the gym. Leg days are when I'm the most hungry. Normally, it'll be about 80% of that.

Perhaps you can consider having a strap made for you. That way, it will be perfect. No excess leather, one or 2 holes punched for your exact wrist size, any color you want, any material you want...

Guys, which brand do you think is better... Tag Heuer or IWC? Was deciding one either as both watches I like price ranges around 8k

I would say branding wise IWC is ahead but just get whichever model that speaks to you more.

Creationwatches' watches are grey sets, you will not get the nice citizen box that you should have now. :o
