I wear my calatrava with shorts and slippers :s13::s13::s13: It's my daily driver and I'm too lazy to set date/time on other watches sometimes.

U are satki la. dylan & son + JM Westons and now calatrava! heh :)

Anyway, abit of OT and generalisation from my own observations and experience on the dressing up and wealth correlation, the new money guys tend to lap up and all decked in branded stuff at the beginning. At some point in time that kind of tapers off for some who would then "concentrate their wealth" (dressing wise) on a few items, typically the watch (for guys) and almost always the car.

For some others, it is a new discovery and they actually build a keen interest and start their poisonous journey into other dressing aspects like their suits, shoes, accessories.

Old money guys obviously get a head start and are usually the polished dressers (more often decking customed or that truly handed-down-from g-eneration-to-generation PP than branded stuff) head to toe for various occasions. Attitude (actually i.e. snob or not snob) is typically the all important differentiator for these guys

that kinda describes this hobby, with $600 you can get:
- a new top of the line watch OR
- 2 new luxurious leather straps :)

personal choice and priorities!

i'll add on: you can also get:
- 2 very decent and respectable Seiko vintage watches

Another thing about this hobby is when one takes one step by one step higher on the money/price ladder, one forgets how high the first step originally felt and how high one actually is now! I admire your ability to put things in perspective and appreciating all the many mini-brand dive watches without the need to "upgrade". I'm more or less telling myself to enjoy the timepieces I have now and ..........they lived happily ever after. THE END. Hor VW? :D

Haha another thing to add, watches that are not expensive can also be good watches. But of cos there will always be holy grails out there.

Hello guys! Just want to ask if anybody knows a thing or two about Deep Blue watches.

This caught my eye but I see no purchase option on their website.

Don't seem to have the model I am looking for.

Anyone knows if Deep Blue is a good brand for a watch along with their movement?

no idea. whats your budget like? dont get fooled by the lume shot. if you're just starting out below 400 a seiko would be a good way to start. such as seiko monster.
