Hi teaspoons, is this your first luxury watch? Why did you chose Zenith? Zenith is not a common 1st watch, what other watches do you have? Share please :)

My denim strap is done - picture sent by Patt of theleatherproject

thinking of hooting this strap.....what do you guys think...?

As it is in fashion today, anything is can one, but certain things are evergreen like black for formal, brown for casual etc everything else and in between is your fancy :)

Any watches around 40mm dial size, black dial and leather strap to recommend? Budget around 2k. q

Few brands you can consider

- Stowa
- Longines (Those entry level one)
- Tissot
- Ball
- Fedreqiue Constant
- Sinn

and one brand I just cannot remember off my head right now :vijayadmin:

Always amazed at what this little grill counter can do. I guess it's a rare combination of skill and fresh ingredients!

It's a turbo watch at 36000vph. I like the movement a lot. Admittedly was looking at the open face el primero chronograph but when I saw this. ..... Have a couple started with an omega speed master 10 years ago

Hey guys.. Swatch recently start selling Sistem 51 watches in singapore. 90 hours power reserve, Miyota movt, $209 only.

But it doesn't sing to me though. Looked like a watch splattered with white paint to me.

Hi,

Personally I would recommend either Longines or Baume & Mercier (may be biased because I have one).

These brands offer good quality watches at a reasonable price.. Here's a picture of mine. Hope it would give you some idea of what you're getting for the moolah.

Most importantly.. purchase a watch which speaks to you. Happy shopping! :)

Edit: If you could stretch a little to 3K.. it'll open up a lot more choices.

Cheers.
