It's a turbo watch at 36000vph. I like the movement a lot. Admittedly was looking at the open face el primero chronograph but when I saw this. ..... Have a couple started with an omega speed master 10 years ago

Have to say open face El Primero is not everyone's taste. While the geek factor is there it ain't a really pretty feature IMO. Zenith comes across to me as the most value for money brand, but I don't own one ...just bores down to the aesthetics because their movements are to rave about.

When did u get it? Back then yours discount like?
Day date chrono USA retail is like usd$4.5k, usually sg retail is 1.5x of USA price dispite the exchange rate is like 1.2. Distributer good mark up

I got it when tag standard discount in SG was still 25%. The following year, Tag reduced it to 20%. So someone might be able to deduce which year was that.

Anyway, I got the Carrera day-date at 25%+7% discount. Used the DFS airport duty free trick to bargain, but had to pay cash for it.

Edit : found my old posting in Tag thread. Bought the watch in Apr-2011. 3 yrs plus the watch has doubled its price? For a Tag lover (from their design), also too much to buy any more Tag.

I have a qns here. For example,if you have a watch that has the day indicator in both roman and English numerals, how do you ensure you can only see one language eg. TUE ?? TIA
