Hmm the GO panomatic lunar is my next target, any reason why I shouldn't get it? In terms of quality, movement, value etc

Yeah. They are beautiful and the dial is neater and more thoughtful than the ALS one IMHO + the big date displays "0" for the 1st digit window on single digit dates vs blank for ALS.

Go for it coern! I believe your collection is lacking in this genre!

Unless u gunning directly for the ALS hehe.

That's the thing.

Sometimes as a watch lover, it's somewhat frustrating. That is, the brand ***** in us will rear its ugly head.

I almost bought the the GO power reserve more than once. It's a great watch at a very reasonable price. But there's always the nagging at the back of my head saying it's a ALS wannabe.

So might as well save for the ALS.

Still saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving, saving...

Haha happy chewren day
Is it possible to do a direct upload of photo to the thread instead of hosting it?? So leicei.

As long as you got the direct link to the photo you can post it. Only thing is if that website deletes the photo, so will it on your thread, as opposed to hosting it , it stays there as long as its in your website.

El Primero???

watches are a very personal accessory that reflects your preference, values and taste, not forgetting all that packaged to something within a personal budget, so it's tough for others to 'suggest' without more details.

I could suggest to aim a JLC Moonphase Ultra Thin because you don't (yet) have a proper dress watch and something on leather strap but then your preference could be strictly metal bracelet watches only, or you may value a micro brand like nomos or you only want to go for a PP dress watch and nothing less.

Fade White - me prefer the JLC Reverso (nice to wear to the Opera...) :D

If not the BB, the Pelagos is a worthy consideration

Dressier watch? Like a Glashutte Original PanoMaticLunar, beautiful watch with moon phase complication... For a reasonable price..

Need more details like bracelet or strap? Budget? From the above you already have sporty watch so can aim for leather strap slightly dressy ones.

Same... JLC is my dream Dress watch...

Thanks all for your replies.. yup, I was thinking dress watch too, but I'm not as cultured as most bros here so I dont really wear formal a lot, hehe... so still 50/50 on whether to get a dressy watch.

budget is 3-5k..

el primero seems a little too big for my puny 6" wrists... I have a colleague who wears it and it seems huge even on his larger wrist.

JLC reverso is nice...but not so keen on square face...moonphase seems nice too, what's the price range like?

if dress watch, leather strap is ok..but if sports watch, must be in bracelet for my preference...

My 2 cents, perhaps biased by what is affordable to me:

I think the GO version actually looks nicer so i'll go for GO regardless with respect to this model between both brands. If i get an ALS, will go for something more unique that i am more convinced is 'best in class'.
