Gotta be specific , affordable is relative. In Panerai circles affordable you can try Panatime. But if affordable means $10, $20 then many abc shops should sell "genuine" leather or synthetic leather. Generally $400 is expensive where you pay for OEM straps, so affordable would be $40 to $100 to me. Then Panatime, they have sales quite often too.

there's no easy way unless u have a easy strap change kind of watch.

u just need a basic fork tool. search youtube for live demo

watches are a very personal accessory that reflects your preference, values and taste, not forgetting all that packaged to something within a personal budget, so it's tough for others to 'suggest' without more details.

I could suggest to aim a JLC Moonphase Ultra Thin because you don't (yet) have a proper dress watch and something on leather strap but then your preference could be strictly metal bracelet watches only, or you may value a micro brand like nomos or you only want to go for a PP dress watch and nothing less.
