THG will sell all their FC stock at 50% as they are no longer the AD. So its while.stocks last.

So much for resale value if they are dumping it like that.
Some joe on WUS still expects THG price for a used watch!
He trying to sell a blue dial I think his price should be 30-40% down

Any grand seiko spring drive owners in here? i am starting to take an interest in the GS watches, as i pretty much liked the smooth sweep of the second hand, as compared to the usual, trembling movement. Able to advise where would i be able to view these watches in singapore, as well as the standard discount?

Iirc there is only one GS owner here, I am the credor spring drive owner

I believe the FC slimline moonphase is deliberately designed to look clean, and clutter-free.

Got mine from seiya.
Can view only limited models at thong sia, somemore the price is marked up high.
There is also someone selling GS in sgroc
Best of course get direct from Japan, I have seen places like tokyo takashimaya selling but I don't know if can bargain..
Experience with seiya is good, fuss free and fast delivery, plus I did not get charged GST, YMMV

I know one place is at Vivocity, at the shop near the exit towards the bus-stop...

Can't advise about the standard discount though, as I got mine from overseas :o

I was the Vivo outlet recently and they're having 15% off for the GS. Not sure if it's for all or some only

Is it cheaper in Japan as compared to Seiya (assuming no bargaining is allowed)? I'm contemplating whether to get it from Seiya or to hoot it from Japan.

Heh if i want to sell any used FCs now, i will withdraw from sale and wait till the THG sale is over. To be fair, you cannot expect all FCs from now on to be sold based on retail -50% (THG one off offer) - 30 to 40% for used la. Unless the new distributor in Singapore will price all their FCs in future at much lower price compared to THG..which i seriously doubt. I have a feeling they will offer less than THG's usual discount last time.

Some quick comparison shots between FC Slimline Moonphase and Seagull Not-So-Slim Moonphase M308S. Both in-house movements.
