Dark blue strap will look nicer, no?

Yea. I think I can overcome this by periodically checking out the see-thru case back. I like the blue strap, just that I like to explore more options.

They are a grey dealer - another forummer have bought from them before. No complaints from him so far.....
Next to jackroad is kame kichi, another big shop also. Houseiki hiroba at shibuya and GMT at shinjuku also not bad

Do call the shop before making your way down to make sure the piece is available. Bring your passport to get tax rebate. They may charge for credit card usage though.

Limited to 1888 pcs, fc runabout, eta movt . After disc at 1.7k. Really good buy to a certain extend.. Was recommended by the SA when the slimline moonphase was thought to be oos initially. Missus preferred this.. It didn't sing me though

I believe the FC slimline moonphase is deliberately designed to look clean, and clutter-free.

Any grand seiko spring drive owners in here? i am starting to take an interest in the GS watches, as i pretty much liked the smooth sweep of the second hand, as compared to the usual, trembling movement. Able to advise where would i be able to view these watches in singapore, as well as the standard discount?

For me, it'd be perfect if

1) it's 38-40mm

2) the date/moon phase sub dial was replaced with a seconds sub dial instead

I bought it for the date/moon sub dial and yes... 38-40 will be better.

Yea, the strap is nice, but I'm not feeling the contrast stitching. Would have preferred matching stitch. Also, i'm not quite used to not seeing the seconds hand, makes me feel insecure lolz

Do you guys think if the watch would look better with a black alligator strap?

I don't really look at the second hand except to see that if my watch is still moving.

Well then it wouldn't be a moonphase.

And there are models from other brands that fit both your prerequisite.
