Anything below 10k yes only rolex worth to buy..

but i guess you second statement is your personal opinion

for me the entry rolexes are the best to buy, the higher end pushing closer to 10K gets less and less worth it.

Just wanna get your guys opinion on these two watches. I choose them on the merits of their look, but would also like to buy something that is well-made or held in high regard in horology.

Would buying these watches in Switzerland be cheaper?

design wise will leave to you but this is signature zenith el primero style and considered a classic in house look.

the el primero movement is world famous, no doubt. beats 50% faster than the normal average or 36,600 beats per hour. mechanical marvel.

Also one of the first and a very beautiful movement to look at (hence the open heart) especially compared to other nomal chronographs e.g valjoux

generally if buy new in switzerland claim gst on the way out, and wear it into singapore as a personal used item (you might want to think what you want to do with the box/receipts) should have significant savings.

Pam owners, do yall find your Pam a little small sized after wearing it for a while? After having my 312 for a while now, I wonder how much cooler would a 47mm be, but it will surely look out of place on a 6" wrist.. LOL.

I had a hard time deciding between the pam24 and 305. Ended up with the 305 cos pams shld be worn large; and might as well go for the biggest but most basic submersible.

i still think 44mm is the perfect size for me. 47mm too huge.

otherwise rolex is the predictable choice

Ahh... yea. Pams should be worn large.

I think that's the appealing part of owning one isn't it? The wrist presence and visual impact.

For a first luxury watch, I'd get a sporty chronograph or a divers watch in bracelet rather than leather or rubber strap.

This is so that u can fit into any outfit be it formal, casual or sporty.

My 2 recommendations that is more different than e usual would be e Grand Seiko Titanium Divers (>6k) or the JLC deep sea chronograph or the JLC memovox (about 12k)

Or u can go with panerais, they strangely fit into any outfit irregardless of the straps
