I was also thinking, do u guys feel confident n safe buying a expensive watch with inhouse movement ? Watches with complicated functions like chronograph, pr reserve indicator etc ?when service centers can't solve simple issues? Sending in a watch with a easily repaired basic Swiss movement already is a problem 
Servicing a omega moon watch cost around 900 bucks, imagine having defects after a costly service, would anyone be happy ?
This is also why there are certain brands i avoid that doesn't have local service centers. Imagine sending watch back to the watch's oversea headquarters n coming back with issues? It'S a pity cause i like brands like Sinn and Grand Seiko but when it comes to servicing i worry
.. U guys can read so many horror stories of Sinn servicing online....
