that seems to be the going price for established micros at the moment, a lot of demand from watch forums/WIS. on the flip side the support is so much better for e.g. helson email is active and you can send watches back to them for servicing.

..having said that you still get exclusivity as they produce hundreds a year per model. compare that to rolex, which is estimated at 800K per year according to the COSC certs issued.
