If noobs know what is is, too many people have it and it have millions of copies.

it's not too much of a luxury.

Nice.........

I would argue that millions of copies is affirming than denying the luxury status, perceptually at least.

Anyway i precisely mentioned the subjectiveness of 'luxury' as i dont expect all to agree, certainly not on watch thread but surprising coming from u though.

Ingo of Maddog is an awesome guy! Great choice getting something from him! :)

Hey Azriel, may I ask, how long does he take to get back to you after you've sent the money over via PayPal?

I've sent the cash this morning and till now I didn't get any acknowledgement email yet..

I'll be heading to Zurich today.

Any watches that are particularly cheap in Switzerland? Would it be wise to buy a submariner (which model?) back to sg in hopes of reselling?

edit: thinking of getting a zenith. Found prices at this site called chrono24.sg. Are they reliable? E.g.: Zenith Primero Chronomaster 1969 Search for a wristwatch

Remb to check if you get the latest el primer movement with the silicon parts :) they are purple in colour

Big hole in my tiny, shallow pocket :(

10.3k bnib ... Model Number?

321? Hey I never considered the GMTs because I thought they were in the $15k range and paying just for the additional timezone which I won't use. ...thanks I'll study them more closely. Heard the 44mm 1950s automatics wear big due to additional thickness for the rotor mechanism.

Just noticed something very inconsistent.

422 - 47mm big dial more space right. They take away the 9 to put the seconds dial.

321- 44mm smaller dial they leave the 9 and squeeze the seconds dial next to it.

392 - 42mm smaller still they did the right thing and took away the 9.

321 and 422 not logical eh?

Oh ya! Typo. Really cheaper. Servicing wise might be a chore. But so far, no issue with my nav.b, had it for a year plus.

Ok let me know if you grow tired of it, first steinhart, this one is quite unique to the brand.

Personally I find the Pepsi colours cheesy for a luxury timepiece. On a run of the mill Seiko model, maybe. I'll take the standard black. Really to each his own eh bro.

that's the dangerzone for rolex i feel...pushing their sports models into luxury segments. its not like an AP chrono which is luxury first.

must have been a hard business decision too you can imagine - forgoing all that sales that they could have made if in steel.

Yeah as CBS also mentioned Rolex way of pushing into luxury segments is just slap on precious materials and stones. You must have seen how hideous some diamond Rolexes look.

But this is absolutely gorgeous, gutted but understand why this is only in white gold
RPR_gmt-master-ii_0008.jpg

I am betting Rolex will come out the Coke version in stainless steel. Because not many can afford a Pepsi in white gold. It don't make much sense to release another coke in white gold and limit the sales potential for the masses.:D
