HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Today I'd like to tap on the collective knowledge of the experienced pros here.
Sometime in the near future, I'd like to purchase an Omega Speedy Reduced(3510.50 or the likes of), as my first watch above 1k (my humble but much loved collection includes 2 seikos, still a NSF la hehe :s13:).
I have seen some models going for around $1.5k-ish on chrono24 and ebay, my qn is would I be able to get those for that price at local second hand dealers, or would it be much higher?
And also, which second hand dealers would you recommend with a good range of speedy's?

Personally I'll save up a bit more cash and go for the speedy pro 3570.50. The original speedy. Can get decent Pre-owned for less than 3k

That's a beautiful seiko. Quite a vintage piece right?
Bro a562140, can share where you obtained it? :)

Sent from here using GAGT

hi yes it's a vintage Quartz, one of the most beautiful in my eyes and a pity they don't make them like this anymore.

Still discovering about the wonderful - and sometimes weird - world of seiko, and the my chances on watchuseek and ebay.

Anyone knows if this is true of IWC? Found it on wiki.

"The company began keeping detailed records for every watch that has left the factory since 1885. Since 1885, details of the caliber, materials used and cases have been entered into the records. In the case of later models, these also include the reference number, delivery date and the name of the authorized dealer. For a small fee, the owner can obtain precise information about their watch, as long as the watch is at least ten years old.[8]

The company claims that its service department has the parts and is capable of repairing and maintaining watches from every era since IWC's foundation in 1868."[9]"

Doesn't this ooze masculine elegance?
