With the Apple Watch being sold this year, will people be more conscious on what's on people's wrists? Will watches become more a fashion statement?

As a watch lover I think its good news.

Watches has always become a fashion statement the moment we carry a phone.

I think it will help the watch industry but drive demand up, if supply cannot keep up. Prices will go up higher than before.

Are we willing to pay for the usual 3-5% up or the new 10-15% up?

I think you may be right. People had quoted the kindle vs printed books where it was thought to have broughy the demise of printed books but it turned out to be the contrary.

$3600 to $4000 for leather. Bracelet maybe $4400. But these are prices based on chrono24.sg

Issue is here hard to find every printed books title on digital book! Not only that the price difference is just usd$2-10!
Who want to go digital? If it's 50% off ppl would go for it. Ppl see digital book as high profit model. No need to get factory to print, no cost of ink, paper, warehouse space to store, no shipping cost why just few dollars cheaper? Like that might as well buy the book at least can show, still can sell on used market, end up cheaper than digital copy. Publisher worry about piracy. No efforts to combat. To combat drive price down! Not dying to keep margin higher than paper

The marketing or direction of digital book not that right.

Then again books and watches very different , not exactly apple to apples

Do consider Guinand (mr Sinn just sold it away, just like original Sinn).
Esp if u looking for great value watches
