Can u imagine we, but a blimp on the world map, are the 4th largest swiss watch market. What does that say about us...materialistic? Loaded?

To get a glimpse of the sheer magnitude of this fact. US population is 318.9mill compared to Singapore 5.5mill. 58 times more people and they consume only 2x the amount of luxury watches. Or if each person owns 1 watch, you are 29x more likely to bump into a person with a luxury watch in Sg vs US.

It says that we have shxtloads of tourists buying watches here. Especially from certain countries. Am sure more than 1 of us have experienced getting no/little service from the SA cos he/she is better off serving a sure-to-buy-something tourist, all things equal.

I was at Vivocity this evening and saw at Sincere watches, was a JLC on display which has a blue 'cosmic' dial with a tourbillion movement on the top right hand corner, going for a whopping $487K!!

Not an expert but i'll say buy if u can get your hands on 1. Cult status diver + 50th anniversary + ridiculous new depth rating ought to be a success, espec if the depth rating is kept exclusive to the edition model only.

But usually 6-digit priced watches should be tourbillions. I read somewhere that they only need to be adjusted once a century, dunno how true.
