If I recalll correctly, go look for WINS trading at bencoolen.

You can also try to go to Big Time @ One Commonwealth to see Seiko stuff.

I guess most of you here are more concerned over the design, aesthetics, whether matching with what you wear, the movement, smooth turning of the crown, able to last generations because it's purely mechanical, and ATAS feel (e.g. owning a Rolex), etc. instead of time accuracy (well this is in Fashion section anyway).

Okay, hope you all don't mind some 2-cents from a watch noob :)

i only wear watch when im outside. setting it and winding is up is a joy before heading out to me.

and lets face it, our handphone is prolly the most accurate watch we will ever need. that clock on our wrist is just an accessory with a bonus function of telling time.:s13:

EDIT: bigtime have a branch at commonwealth now? thts good news!

This is not true.

It's not produced in-house and still sourced from another company that clones ETAs (Valanvron?). And given the cost, definitely with a higher % of chinese parts given that "Swiss Made movements/watches" just needs a min of 60% Swiss manufacture and assembly within Switzerland.

Not to detract from the value, of which it is good indeed but one simply has to be cognizant of the fact that watches at this price point (other than the Seiko juggernaut <3 ) do not contain in-house movements nor 80-100% Swiss Made movements.

At this range can try looking at Sinn or Stowa also.
