guys may i just ask how it is possible to differentiate between hardlex and sapphire crystals just by looking at it? If i were to pay a token fee to have someone mod my watch from hardlex to sapphire how would i know if it is indeed replaced? (other than by having faith in the integrity of the vendor)

Ultra Accuracy Quartz at +/- 5 secs ... WITHIN A FRIGGIN YEAR!!!

but no sweeping seconds hand, though... but +/- 5 secs ... WITHIN A FRIGGIN YEAR!!!

Oh and 10 yr warranty and free battery change if shipped back to Japan, iirc.

Do note that 7s26 movement (same as the SKX 007/009) is not hackable/handwindable.

Just don't want you to be disappointed.

But otherwise it's their workhorse movement, so to speak, even though some Seiko 5 models have upgraded to the hackable/windable 4R36 movement.
