If u are really lucky, custom will stop the parcel and ask u to go to Paya Lebar SingPost HQ to show invoice and pay gst, then issue u the goods.

But most of the time, seiya parcel will just appear with the postman on your doorstep, that's it (as in no need to pay gst).

They changed now? Last time was deliver to your doorstep and pay on the spot. If no money, parcel get sent to singpost until u paid the gst.

Getting my first Rolex in Dec. Submariner or Datejust II?

The Explorer and Submariner can be very versatile. Easier to get away wearing both with a suit than a Datejust to the beach. You should just buy what you really like, take some time to research and appreciate the history, movement, before making your decision.

The guys at the watch shop don't expect you to buy on your first visit. Wear it on your wrists, look in the mirror.

Are you refering to the Explorer series or Explorer I or II? Guess Datejust is too blingy and flashy? :s13:

I'm buying on my first visit thou...... unless no stock! But I expect to spend a good few hours at the shop before buying :D

Man... buying your very first luxury watch sure brings back many memories for me.

And I shared it here too...

Take your time to choose slowly, test wear the watch on your wrist for as long as you want.

Hahaha I will take that as a compliment talon

On a side note, does anyone own an isofrane strap?

I'm looking to get this expensive rubber compound strap and I would like to know what's the best width I should get for my 20mm lug width MM300 as some people claims that 22mm will be fit nicely within a 20mm lug width as the rubber is pretty soft.

I'm using a 20mm iso for a watch with 20mm lug width. Although 22mm might fit on the 20mm lugs, I've heard it can cause the spring bars to dislodge under strenuous activity. Best to get the appropriate size :s12:
