Well.. Agree that's a fact of life, in watches or otherwise, and certainly a perception that PP and Lange would want to reinforce and perpetuate.

One key reason being mont blanc doing too many other things to be taken seriously for their watches. It's like macdonald may well launch an excellent wanton mee but no one will take it seriously much less rate it anywhere near the venerable old timers.

That's one reason why I got the Royal Oak Chrono instead of the ROO last year; too many fakes. The other reason being the bracelet.
