How to avoid? Last time Malaysia no VAT can go there to collect and Siam. Now just pay up

I find The vat refund process in bkk international airport is so troublesome >.<

At the departure floor... need to go to the VAT refund first to like "register"... then go to another counter to get stamp on all your vat refund receipts... den iirc need to go back to the first counter again...

After you clear the Immigration counter, need to go to the VAT refund counter inside the transit.

無價之寶又唔系。。。只是停產佐，收藏價值只會落在其設計上。機芯方面易整，唔駛擔心。

如果用我一貫睇表的宗旨去評估只表的話。。。
芯，應該無問題，二千年初造的芯應該穩定，易整。
價，中古日本表，平民款，應該唔可以太高，少過60可以考慮。
樣，遮住個嗰三粒星，遮住東方表的品牌，個嗰表有無噢迷搞Constallason的feel咧？
牌，唔駛講啦。。。大家都明嘅。。。平民嘢嘛。。。所以唔好太在意。

Don't do it then if the 7% isn't worth the effort

indeed... I tried it once on my previous visit, since the vat refund amt was about 30+ sgd...

so if Nomos in bkk is around 6k sgd... after 15% discount?! that would be 5100 sgd? after 7% vat refund, it would around 4700 sgd?!

If that nomos u want is that price.
Maybe factor in foreign transactions rate and cc rebate.

Iirc their discount many times a little better than sg discount b4 vat refund
