Really depends on individual.. The price of a Rolex Submariner Date is likely able to buy you an Omega Seamaster Diver AND a Speedmaster...

Depends on what you want lor.

Though I have the Omega Seamaster too, I'd get a Submariner Date / GMT2c if the budget allows after my wedding and honeymoon...

im finding it hard to find suitable matching leather straps for the blue dial...

I feel that the while dial is more legible than the blue, although the blue one is really gorgeous as well.

yeah quite overpriced in sg. But I see the UK guys easily getting 20% off their retail, whereas in sg, can't really push much.

My chinese isn't very good, haha! Hopefully I managed to interpret correctly. you mean that we asians think that the more expensive, the better the watch?
That's not what I look for in watches. I look at firstly the aesthetics and finishing, then the price. If it is too expensive, then I wouldn't bother. Hence, I would not buy the Bremont if they don't match the price of UK's.

I believe in Bremont's quality. I don't see why so many big brands are willing to work with such a young watch company if they cannot provide quality and reliable products.

looks is subjective so i'll get that out of the way, Raven has a kickstarter with a similar design which i felt is superior in most ways at 1/10 the cost. movement wise is the only area it edge out being cosc certified.

bermont as a company itself is too gimmicky imo. too much marketing, random collaborations with jaguar, boeing, martin barker(do you buy ejection seats?), kingsman and wright flyer(with some controversy) just so they can jerk up their price to retarded levels. i deem this as being dishonest. a young company such as them should gain goodwill through design and value imo.

when you compare a pelagos with that bremont if they are the same price, other than the look, in what metric does it win? the pelagos has a titanium casing, inhouse movement with silicon hairspring, 3 day power reserve and innovative bracelet. with this, let me ask you, what are you paying for for the bremont?

Some stupidly rich Asians (which HK belongs to..) doesn't really care about quality, build, material etc... they just want the most expensive watch the company is able to offer.
