no budget for new watches this Christmas so decided to change up the look of my speedy

looks like a totally different watch with this blue alligator (it really is navy with blue stitching, my lighting sucks and pics taken with iphone)

I scouted around and an AD gave me a $5800 offer. I'm assuming yours is the acrylic crystal varient...

Is this a good price for a new set? Went preowned shops see and they have a 1985 tritium set going for $3300.

Not sure if the $2500 is better saved by getting a preened set.

for a rolex oyster perpetual, is it ok if we wear like once a week (wind and wear) and then keep in storage for a few weeks and then repeat?
i only wear for my important meetings, but don't want the watch to spoil
is a watch winder a must?
I am ok with winding it before usage, I just don't want the components to spoil

You black bay is very expensive, same price as a brand new one after discount.
