the stainless steel bracelet version or the rubber strap version for the 5167?

Personally, rubber for the look. Bracelet seems thick. Cut the rubber also heart pain but Patek accessories I would say are reasonably priced :)

Thought the questions would be 5167 or 5711? Since same 324 movement. Price difference almost SGD10K :D

Blue dial i heard waiting list two years. What about the white dial? My only criticism is that should not have been the white to use...maybe an off-white dial would have been more vintage / classic.

If money no issue I want the 5711 full rose gold. No compromise =:p

Oh well, I guess they don't understand IWC or brands alike. What they see are just over-priced modified ebauche watches. Its easy to come up with those so-called evaluation points, like history, in-house movements, resale value etc. Few can appreciate the very fact that companies that strive to invest in and innovate complicatons, such as perpetual calender, minute repeater, tourbillion etc, are actually serious and passionate watch makers and IWC is one of them.
...................

So, exclusivity for the sake of exclusivity, maybe not.

I'm not sure... It seems to be innovation for innovation sake? Some houses like to jump into the bandwagon to say "hey I can do a flying tourbillon as well, take me seriously!"

What would be more interesting for a mass market consumer like me is to see the innovation trickle down to the popular range.

Was on carousell browsing aimlessly. Saw someone selling a Seiko SRP641 Shrouded Monster and the seller said can modify with FFF face and hands! A photo was included. Never considered that possibility before!

Saw it too!
Gold Needle with Gold Crown = Match.
Black Face with PVD = Match.

But need to be careful leh this watch is 4 o clock crown cannot swap around with SNZH55 one which is 3 o clock :(

Hi guys, is a Rolex Precision 6694 w/ its original thick bracelet (stretched here and there) worth for $1.35k? Considering that its condition is good? But 34mm may seem a little too small for my wrist also...

Thank you my brothers. Unfortunately not very keen on ALS or VC. I always wanted a Patek 5167 though or a Master Ultra Thin by Jaeger-LeCoultre, maybe 2017 (target)

One of the senior guys in my office wears a 5167. Very nice piece, and dead discreet (in that only those who know, know).

@jase07 Saw a 5712 in real life, worn by the medical specialist in charge of my grandma. Best description for my feelings that day was "my left wrist cowered in the sight of the greatness" :) . Pictures don't do a Nautilus justice.

And did I mention he wore it doing all the daily duties a doctor does?
