What do you mean by classic? Iconic?

Below is a classic ah pek Rolex...

true ah-pek rolex = plastic/acrylic crystal + NON-quick set date + NON-COSC (only PRECISION niah). :D

just saying, cos you still too young to be uncle/ah-pek. ;)

Pleasantly surprised that the movement is hackable and windable

Not the usual seiko 5, impressed with the weight of the watch despite being rubber bracelet. Happy!

seiko 5s have been transitioning from the non-windable and non-hackable 21 jewel 7s26/36 movement to the hackable 24 jewel 4r36 movement.

my pet peeve is WTF isn't seiko releasing the 2nd gen skx007/009 with the hackable and windable 4r36 movement?!!!

after all my 2nd gen orange monster is already equipped with the 4r36!

And prices to go up? Haha they won't.
They have sumo to cover that market.
What makes SKX 007 desirable because of the price point and looks.

Somemore short time run. Less than a year production. Haha more Satki than sub

Ppl buay hiao. Haha only think rolex Satki. Tudor is chui. Haha.
U wear tudor less common than sub + less fake Hahaha

agree with everyone who roots for the tudor BBN. they got the vintage vibes just right.

however, if they'd equipped it with an ETA 2892-A2 chronometer grade movement, it'd make an even better value proposition!

now waiting for rolex to release of limited edition sub with red triangle, red-sub or double-red sea dweller... would it ever happen? :s11:

bro, my SRP309K 2nd gen OM is an ISO-rated diver (like the SKX007/009) and it comes with SOLID END LINKS and a 4r36 hackable, windable movement.

and it costs LESS than a SKX009K on a SEL oyster bracelet with the older non-hackable and non-windable 7s26 movement!

what gives? :s11:

those who're keen on the new seiko turtles better borrow a loupe from the watch shop and eyeball the dial carefully. it seems QC is not quite there and misalignments have been spotted. caveat emptor! :)
