Should be possible. Went Tokyo 2 months back, saw a SBDX001 going for 175k yen after 8% tax. Additional 5% off if have some tourist voucher. So after everything and taking 1SGD to 85yen work out to less than 2k.

How to get the tourists voucher?

but the chrono.. why i need to know yesterday's and tomorrow's date? dial just abit too cluttered for me here..

2) What is the cheapest way to get Tag watches? From other forums, I heard that at AD, it's possible to get 15-20% discount. But someone suggested getting from Changi DFS since you can get 15% discount + 7% GST off. Are there Tag grey dealers in Singapore? Or will it be cheaper to buy directly from the US?

The AD discount is eminently possible.

Their tax off deal is roughly the same as a 20% off.

Here's how it works:

Lets say watch 100.

15 percent off is 85.

Then 7 percent off that 85 is 0.93*85= 79.05.

The US difference in price is not so much as to warrant the hassle. SG have so many point of sales, shopping round for a deal is not that hard.

I don't suggest you to go to those direct main stores, I've went in Rolex main to ask for Tudor and the max they give is 10%, whereas All Watches gave 15% straight, but interestingly, I'm not sure if the AW see wrong listing price or what.

Tudor Fastrider he told me $5742 before discount and given 15% would be $4880, shown on his calculator. But when he open the watch for me to try the price tag says $5472 after 15% is $4650. Since the numbers are close I can believe he might have saw wrongly and quoted me, initially thought was a business method to jack up listing price. But a nice guy over at Chinatown AW, way better than Cortina beside it. He even bring the Tudor from Bugis outlet just to let me try but sadly it is a white dial which is not what I wanted and he smile and say it's okay haha.

So better to check the price tag listing first.
