Orient is the way to go, 200 bucks for a affordable and durable great looking office/dress watch.

For the remaining 1800, go on a holiday together with your husband and have fun.

Don't need buy an expensive watch. Orient has a reputable history and is also under seiko, far better than those fashion brands watches. Here's mine Orient bambino, agreed with what Gx recommended. Have fun shopping!

Bambino is a great watch... had it once... But little wrist time as I don't usually wear a dress watch.

Here's an old shot!

Er I think you are mistaken. He does not know that I plan to get him a watch and these are all just observations I have from asking him subtly. The budget of 2k is mine and not his, hence why I was asking here to see if it's possible to find a watch which can fulfil his requirements.

And yes, to be honest he doesn't know anything about watches, which I mentioned before when I first started asking on this thread, but I would like for him to have a nice looking watch which he can wear for work.

Why must say until like that ar?

Sorry my budget too low lor. Poor people is like that one.

If Tag will make him happy, go ahead. You know him best :)

I will be happy if my wife buys me a Tag.

Hi all masters, I'm currently contemplating to buy a dress watch. My Budget is small- 1k to 1.5k and looking at an automatic titanium watch. Would a seiko shogun or tissot automatic titanium be good..? Otherwise, what other options do I have..?

Haha I think so too.. To be honest, I'm going to leave him to figure out what his holy grail is. Right now I just want something nice looking for him and I had hoped 2k was enough. If really too much of a stretch then maybe I should just give him angbao lol.

actually similar to jonleelk, i do recommend just randomly walking into a watch shop to randomly browse, ask him try and see wad he likes, say maybe one day u strike 4D u will buy for him

den when he really tries one and he seems to admire it longer than he does for the other watches, u highly noe tts his choice le (of cuz, u ownself control the pricetags of the watches going on his wrist la)

u can try getting some contacts here? some bros here can help secure a discount from Watches of Switzerland (not sure if they have below 2k watches thou)

anyway, we all have good intentions here...pls don misunderstand us :) the people here helped me immensely as i was searching for a good watch for myself too :)

Seiko shogun more like a diver watch than dress watch. If diver is also ok for u, can consider this:

I'm not too sure about titanium dress watch with auto movement.

Sure you may fit the Shogun under your shirt cuff, but I believe the Seiko Transocean series may suit you better as it is a dressier diver watch. Although one problem is that it is not titanium but stainless steel case + ceramic bezel. Second problem is integrated bracelet (cannot swap to straps if you want).

First glance thought it's boobies.
