Thanks for explaination. Think that settled my decision liao. Going for the old eta version with rose logo and no "chronometer" word. There is difference though. Only 38hrs power reserve compared to 70hrs.

Don't bother the power reserve, if u have only one and wear everyday, 100hrs power reserve also no use to u; if u have more than two, 10hrs also doesn't matter

Oh ya hor... never crossed my mind.. but usually weekend i wont wear office watch de.. anywayz means fri nite lets say 10pm i take it off i have to wind it at 10am on sunday.

Yeah, same model with u, I really love my 3777! But now my gf she want to steal my watch, that's why planning to get another watch for myself and give this to her... Lol

Yes, but to me no hurt to wind on Saturday night since the amount different quite much (to me), no point to pay so much becoz of Saturday wind the watch.

Yeah, for me personally I also will get the new in-house coz the price not much different. But for what I see him, $$ is slightly more difficult to him means if can save more just save, so no hurt to get old version.

And new in-house nobody know it is 100% durable, still need time to prove, but the old version eta already proved durable.
Touch wood if the new in-house got little bit problem then he again complain like hell

So to me eta is good enough for him
