probably 4k odd? with good condition.
but definitely won't hold value as much as a lolex.

you know you want it but you're contemplating if you should hoot cause everyone has one.

so i will see what comes my way. if financially turns out to be good, might just keep the BBB and get a sub (hope 2016 will be good)

as you grow older, more commitments, cannot spend as freely. unless you earn ALOT

Everybody has sub bcos of its classic nvr out look. Goes well with any dress code and not mention durability.

Same as you, if 2016 is good, i look to hoot speedy and sub. Else either one is good. Extra motivation to work hard.

Not to mention baselworld 2016 may have new models to poison us.

Rolex retains value better and more well received.

Second prices are tempting depending on the models.

Discount varies between boutique and AD. Suggest you target a model you fancy and visit the ADs in orchard for comparison

My dad one was bought in 1984 still running without having service but power reserve and accuracy not known hhaha

He just wind and wear during new year etc. still works. I think can't service Liao should be major over haul if he ever goes to that point in time to service

I have a Speedmaster n a gmt. For some reason, omega price is all over the place unlike Rolex which is more consistent. I bought my Speedmaster tintin in Japan for 3.6k brand new, but in sg the boutique don't want to give discount (6k). U can go to jackroad / kame kinchi website n see - new omega is easily 30 percent below list price in Japan. So a 2nd hand is worth much much lesser. I seen those pieces in Japan being bought by sg pple to flip in SWX for 500 bucks profit..

My advise for omega is if u have a chance to go Tokyo - get it there. If not look for grey dealers in sg. Don't buy brand new from boutique - it's quite painful to know that the same thing is sold much lesser else where.
On Rolex if u can get a decent discount in local boutique 8% or more - just buy it there.
