Hello guys!

I've been following the discussion here and am impressed by the wealth of knowledge I've gained as a result.

I'll mark my first contribution here by posting a few pictures I took of my two favourite watches in the collection =)

i am THIS close to getting the longines pulsometer. but everytime i see new pictures of the tudor black bay black, my heart gets stirred again.

i have never been a fan of diver watch, but i gotta admit... this tudor black bay black is really attractive compared to the other similar style diver watch from other brands... i think this may be the one and only diver watch which i think is beautiful.

Ball watch with Chronometer certified COSC , is this feature important ?

If you are particular of accuracy and seconds, this is what COSC measures.

means ur watch abit more accurate than others but still not as accurate as quartz

some brands will go for all these certifications to sell their watches for more $$$

The white gold hexes you see on the AP face is "nut". The back is "screw.

As an engineer, I learnt something today! so that's how the AP RO get the screws perfectly aligned on the face.. by adjusting the backside screws.. icic..

The COSC cert is just like those certs in the audio visual industry..... Doesn't mean a thing. There are so many watches that meet the COSC requirements but cannot get the label because they are not swiss made. It's just another marketing gimmick to me

eh anyone have experience with cape cod polishing cloth?
lol got hairline scratches on my bbn case. damn fast. damn mirror finish. hahaha

and bb don't have AR coating.

Just leave the finishing as stock as possible and let the scratches come. Watches are meant to be beaten.

With the new year coming up, does anyone have any watch related new year resolution?

Mine is to cut my expenses enough that I be under budget enough by end of 2016 that I can buy the MM300. A tough feat considering that I'll be starting 2016 at a severe over budget lol.

I agree, a big fan of JM personally and his collection, particularly for his Patek 5970G

I am using it for my Daytona. It is for shiny SS surface not brushed SS, so I tend to tape up the brushed SS areas before using it.
Minor scratches can buff away but slightly deeper ones need to use strength and slowly polish to minimize them.
