Make sure your RedMi is not locked.
If you are using Windows 7 or 8, it'll detect your phone and the drivers should automatically install.

need help on this.

anyone got EBR1, EBR2, scatter files and know how to partition redmi back to sg 2.11gb internal and 0.90gb phone storage ?

thanks. anyway, it's because i increased my internal storage from 2.11gb (original) to 2.98gb. My Phone storage left 62mb. but everything is saved to my microSD card.

Needing help to know how i can revert back the partitions. One resolution i can think of is flash tool, but no flashtool files for SG redmi yet. Don't know where i can get it or when it will be released.

there's a long way, but too tedious. hwz experts help.

I re-partitioned my sg redmi to System Storage 2.98Gb / Phone Storage 68.53Mb using meteos-mtk6589-rom-edit-en.apk from this page ( [HONGMI/REDMI]How to increase /data partition size - Redmi 1/1S/Note - MIUI Official Community ). If I'm not wrong, reversing it is just installing the app, and tapping the 1.5Gb button instead.

Is there a reason setting the size back, other than warranty/resale?

no, the original SG partition is 2.11gb, not 1.5gb. the 1.5gb option will end up with 1.5gb internal and 1.6gb phone storage. :s22:

yes, when selling, the guy who got it should have the ability to use with/without microSD like factory default.

1.5gb option will leave too little space for internal. too much for phone storage.
2.5gb option will leave phone storage to have only 300~400mb left only. (photos all those are saved here.)

i think 2.11gb is very well thought and 0.90gb is just right. but it's a tedious journey to get back to original partition size without MIUI redmi sg flashtool.

sigh... :(

Anyone has this issue where the weather widget time does not synchronize with the phone system timing?

Guys, I can't for the love of my life seemed to change the path of the Camera storage to sdcard1. Can anyone advise me please?

Any help is kindly appreciated.

redmi dual sim 3g

so redmi doesn't support switching 3g from slot 1 <-> slot 2 in setting itsellf ? since slot 1 for 3g and slot 2 for 2g only?
