I just saw this comparison from another thread for ZenFone 5 vs RedMi. Asus ZenFone 5 vs Xiaomi Hongmi - Phone specs comparison

Seems like ZenFone 5 is better leh, in terms of camera and battery life, and memory slot expansion (up to 64gb), maybe except for the price lol…

Ok the Redmi gps working fine alr. Now the only prob is my system storage left 1gb nia, dl a few more apps my phone max out alr this is my only issue with Redmi so far

Accidentally clicking while using facebook

Anyone faces the problem of accidentally clicking onto photos and links while using the facebook app?

I realised when I was scrolling down to see more news feed, I will always accidentally click on some photos and links and directed to a pop up or website.

too bad, we're not getting the 2GB version of zenfone that is mentioned in the link

camera-wise, i do agree zenfone is better; tried it at the preview event

battery life, i think redmi is better, cos it has removable battery (and original spare batteries are cheap at $10 each)

why not just reflash the whole thing? that could be faster.

but you dunno the bugs for their OS yet, small community and unknown support service, MIUI has good customer service and good online community support.

you can always root and move apps to SD. page 1 should have the information you want, don't worry about screwing it up. i did all the mods and i went to xiaomi service centre ytd, took 5mins for them to get my phone back to factory default. easy.

yes, it's a known issue. had the problem with mi3 too, just not frequent. my guess is the MIUI. something not optimized. same problem occurs on older version of android in older phones. could very well be the hardware too. i have tested 5redmi and 2 mi3. yes they all have some small issues.

hmmmm seems weird for you. i slot in my microSD card and it auto save to it.

Once you put in sd card, the photos should be saved into the sd card automatically.

once you insert the SD card, the phone will take care of that by itself

My friend and I could not install "Wheres My Droid" on our Redmi. App provides SMS notification when someone changes SIM card on the phone.

Installation error message- Unknown error code during application installation:- "-26".

Is anyone successful with this app on their Redmi?

Note 2.. hehe.. But I don't play game or use any heavy apps. Thinking to change to dual sim since I need to travel to MY often. BTW, 2G has no problem to send msg via whatsapp and line right? I can get a wifi to fb, but I need whatsapp and line on the go in MY.
