yes, set it to strong. Vibrate with the beat means the phone vibrate with your ringtone's rhythm.

I am hanging on to my Redmi ver 1, but have to put it aside for now as no more space for apps. Dunno will xiaomi update the rom to allow moving apps to sd. If not I'm no longer keen on xiaomi phones.

4.4 kit Kat will allow more apps moving to external sd card. Won't help if it stays with 4.2.

Seems that the 1st version will not go beyond 4.2

anyone can solve the firmware update issue? i tried downloading it and putting in sd card...it install and reboot then hang there after that auto reboot into old firmware...

Also, this will wipe your internal memory, so.. backup

The Version 18 from the phone Updater looks good to me. Downloaded and the upgrade process seems smooth. For those having problem on the ver17.0 can try on this ver18.0.
