Redmi 1s is a "dual SIM, dual standby" phone, not "dual SIM, dual active". This means as far as making calls is concerned, only one SIM can stay active at a time.

I can't download and install the latest update.

There's an error during the installation.

i'm facing the same issue too. Able to download the latest update, but failed halfway thru the installation.

Update.zip is not correct
Installation aborted..

any bros can help?

Just follow the step as described in the redmi forums.

-vol down + power. Xiaomi recovery to flash twrp.
-Twrp successfully, take out battery and vol down + power.
-will go to twrp recovery mode, from there flash the root stable zip file.

Redmi 1S can order now at the Singapore Xiaomi website, for those who's still interested to get it w/o waiting for the coming Thursday sale at 12pm...

got an update notice of V26, not hte V25 days ago. tried to update V26, still got the same error on "update.zip"

So far on 25 quite ok on the smoothness, saw they never change lists on this 26 so never update. Not so sure why so many ppls unable to update 25 or 26. Xiaomi retrenched 90% of the firmware engineers since 16. :(
