That mean the ROM is not meant for SG set, try applying the HM1SG-boot-fix.zip after ROM flash to see if it work. But looking at the file-name (signed_bz_miui_HM1_W_4.10.2_A2.zip) alone, I have doubt this is even MIUI v6!!!

Ur right. Need to flash boot fix. But then ur right 2nd time. Its not miui 6. Fake one damn it!!

All I can said is, once bitten, twice shy. Just wait for the official stable release, v6 is still in beta testing for Redmi 1 model.

Thought this ROM is meant for SG as there were talk on having a single international version.

Anyway, does this ROM require boot fix patch? Perhaps I should wait for the official stable release.

Hi guys, I'm new in this.
A couple of questions:

1. I have been using the phone without SD cards for a few months. Bought an SD card and put it on. How do I set which storage the photos I take go into?
2. I assumed the photos I took before that were in Phone storage, how do I move them to SD card?
3. can i connect this phone to mac and copy/backup all the photos and applications (like chat history in SMS,whatsapp)?
4. Anyone experience this Wifi error before? My ipad and computer can connect to my home wifi just fine, but this redmi die die cannot see the home wifi. Tried the manual fill in the home SSID also cannot.

Redmi Repair

Hi guys, my Redmi got smashed. The screen glass is fine, but the LCD part is shot. when I turn it on, I see cracks. Any idea how much this will take to repair? and do you know of a trustable place to do it in the West?

I feel, IMO, it's not worth to repair a Redmi screen as the price of changing a new screen might buy you a brand-new Redmi 2. :)
