Fr Xiaomi FB:
Update on ‪#‎PayPal27Mar‬ issue -
Dear Mi Fans, PayPal has resolved the payment issue on Mar 28 4am (https://www.paypal-notify.com/eventnotification/event_details?eventId=4863), which means subsequent payment through PayPal should not encounter similar issues on 27 Mar. PayPal has retrieved the impacted transaction data and are looking to trigger this information to us by end of tomorrow (30 Mar). Subsequently, once we get this information, we will be able to process the orders accordingly. We will advise on the shipping dates after the orders have been processed.
We thank you for your understanding, and will provide another update on the situation soon.

In lite mode, is there anyway to turn off the number reading function? E.g when dialing and press 6 Redmi will say "liu". A bit irritating sometimes.

Dear Mi Fans,
Change of Order Status: Our payment partner has started the process of sending payment information for us to update the order status of your placed orders. Progressively over the next 12 hours, you will be able to see your order status being updated. If your order status has been updated, no action is required. Your orders will be pushed through for fulfilment. By 9 a.m. tomorrow (31 Mar), please contact our customer service at service.sg@xiaomi.com with your order reference number if there are still anomalies.
Orders will be shipped: Estimated shipping date will be on Tuesday, and you can expect to receive your orders by 8th April. To expedite the delivery, we are engaging FedEx to assist with the delivery, and we will update our website (Xiaomi Singapore) with instructions on how to track FedEx orders, and how to determine whether your order is delivered by FedEx. No change for orders delivered by UPS.
Refund of excess payment: We will be sorting out the excess payment immediately after all orders have been updated, and will inform those on the estimated refund dates tomorrow.
Compensation for inconvenience: This payment issue has caused delay to the orders placed and we understand that you were all looking forward to enjoy your Redmi. Our payment partner has agreed to indemnify Xiaomi for all affected orders so we can offer you compensation. We will inform you on the details once it is confirmed. On top of this, as a gesture of goodwill, Xiaomi will make arrangements to have a Red Redmi back cover delivered to all affected orders in the following weeks.
Please share and notify your friends if they have been affected.
We thank you for your kind understanding of this incident, and do look forward to an exciting announcement from us tomorrow!

anyone having issues with their whatsapp notifications?
some messages don't get notified or loaded till I open whatsapp.
have tried rebooting, resetting factory settings, reinstalling the app, ensuring permission is given to whatsapp to autostart, enabling pop ups to always.
anything that I left out?
please help if possible, whatsapp is crucial for me.
thanks.
