Much better this time I feel... Managed to get 2 sets with 1 account... Have extra Liao.. For Tiong Bahru frens only..

I manage to get one. Here is my tips

Tips to Purchase
  1. open the website where out of stock is showing before 12pm, and keep refreshing until you see the out of stock text change to Add to my Cart. Once change click it.
  2. It will redirect you to choose two options, Bundle or Phone only, choose whatever you want, and click Next
  3. In the next screen sometimes it will show ask you to buy silicone case, check the one you want and click Checkout
  4. If it says "Server is busy" or some error happens, click My Cart and click Checkout again from your Cart until successful, if your Cart is empty repeat from number 1
  5. Here you need to enter your delivery address, fill in your Address line 1, line 2, and postal code, then your phone number and click the button to pay. If it errors again saying server is busy or what, click My Cart and see whether your order is there, if not repeat from step 1.
  6. Now you will be redirect to choose payment option, which is Paypal only, click the button and enter your payment info or paypal account, for me I choose paypal account because it will be much faster. After click Pay Now in paypal, paypal will redirect you back to Xiaomi where it will show success and a picture with xiaomi icon holding loudspeaker
  7. At here your payment still pending, refresh your page and click My Order, until you see Payment Received. If it still pending there might be some problems between paypal and xiaomi, either paypal think the payment is unauthorised or need extra checking, for mine, I refresh My order page and it automatically becomes Payment Received, and the order details showing the stage Pay. Next stage will be shipping

That is my experience, maybe can help someone out there who is not IT guy.

What you need to note
Once you place order, server will keep that info in cookies, which means that you can click My Order page to complete the payment if for some reason your previous attempt fails because of server busy.

If you already place order but in My order page, the item is not there (happens to me) where it goes back because of server busy, you need to repeat click Add to My Cart again to place another order. As long as you didn't make payment means that your order is not valid. Only when you have made payment the order is valid! And if for some reason your cart suddenly shows the previous fail order (after it disappear previously), you can ignore it by cancelling it and keep the order that you have made payment.

i registered for the interest and trust that they will send me an email to tell me its available. looks like its bogus.

anyway, is there a fixed day when it willb e available? I went to check around 11am plus, it was coming soon. i thought coming soon in a few days... sigh..

I rather pay starhub the extra 36 bucks to buy the topup card than to pay the flippers for their "profit"

Most definitely. I have totally no love for flippers. they just exploit the market and prevent people who really need to get the phone.

This is a cheap phone and it is not for the premium market. There are some people who get this phone because for one reason or another, they cannot afford a more expensive one.

keep monitoring their facebook page, they will announce the date there
i know it is selling from page 1 of this thread, the Thread Started posted the available date. On that day, use my tips above.

Hope everyone can just hold back their temptation. Resale prices should drop to cost price like what I see on the mi3

I have 1 unit in my cart but unable to check out. Anyone met with similar issue previously?
