that'll be great. I've used it for like 2 years, my backup only 3 meg

How come so little nia? Mine is like 800meg

Anyway back to the backup. I found that if you move the whole folder over to the new phone, after go to Chat settings to backup chat history. somehow or rather, some new messages still gone missing one.

Saw another guide is just to copy the latest database (the dunno what.crypto file) file over. May should try that.

As far as I know of, iPhone cannot move chat history over to Android and vice versa. iPhone is backup via iTunes and factory reset or change iPhone, just restore from iTunes and WhatsApp chat messages will still be there. For Android to Android, just connect the phone to PC, look for a WhatsApp folder and copy it out. Just move the WhatsApp folder to the other Android phone and when you install WhatsApp, it will prompt that a backup WhatsApp file or something like that has been detected, and asks if you would like to restore.

Hi guys, need some help over here.

I am trying to set a small mp3 (Around 30.2KB) as my notification ringtone. So what i did was I connected the phone to my PC and i copied the file in Phone Storage --> Ringtone.

Then I go to General Settings-->Sound-->Default Notification-->Custom -->Select track to try to select the file. However, I can't find the file inside.

Did I miss out anything? Or is there another way of doing things? I am running on 4.2.2HM2013023

Hi.

For those who are having issues with custom ringtones, please perform the actions below.

1. Open Music app
2. Open Settings
3. Disable "Filter by size"
4. Disable "Filter by duration"

Now, you should be able to select your custom ringtone by:
1. Settings
2. General settings
3. Sound
4. Phone ringtone
5. Custom
6. Select track

Have fun and cheers.

Hi, anyone know how to change font style in Redmi? Under display setting, I can't find font style. I only can find font size.
Thanks in advance

Hi.

Install & apply a new font from the Themes app
1.On your phone, find and launch the Themes app.
2.Tap Category and Component.
3.On the Components screen, tap Font.
4.Tap to select the font you want.
5.On the Font details screen, tap Download.
6.Once the download finishes, tap Apply.
7.If you’re prompted to reboot the phone, tap Reboot.

Have fun and cheers.

Hi,
I've sync my google acct onto the phone for contacts.
However, all the email addresses also appeared on my contact list.
Google and they mention to go contact list to find menu list which dosen't appear on my phone. any solutions to select via button and delete or have to delete 1 by 1?

---------

Found it. Thanks

Successfully ordered 3 Remis using separate accounts this Tuesday. Payment went through and Fedex picked up all 3 at the same time in Shenzhen. I imagined they would take the same route but one of the parcels actually flew around asia before just arriving at Singapore sort facility. The other 2 took a direct route from Guangzhou to Singapore and are already at the local Fedex facility this morning.

That's correct. However if your "other" Android phone (HP #2) is already installed with WhatsApp, you need to uninstall and also delete the WhatsApp folder - before moving over the WhatsApp folder from HP #1. Otherwise, it won't "restore".
