The Xiaomi Redmi thread

Friend's note2 recently died and his contract only due like 6 more months.

So I sold him my redmi to "tahan" till then..........

After 2 weeks of using, he told me that he will be buying a mi3 or better version of redmi..........he can't believe that the redmi can be as good in most areas (except build in memory and ram) as compared to note2.

But bear in mind he don't play games on his notes2. Only email, surfing etc....

So for pple who say redmi can't even compare with notes. I really have much doubt over how you use the phone.

i tried to connect my redmi to my laptop (macbook air)

but my laptop is unable to detect the device..any pros know why?

my redmi shows that it is connect but my mba shows no such connectivity

It hurts to see awful Singlish being used (intentionally) in this forum. Its plain childish and not funny at all. Hope the moderators could put a stop to this.

I don't mean to start a war of words; I enjoy HWZ a lot and just want to make his forum more informative and helpful. Hope my comments will be taken objectively.

Install other launchers from Google Play Store, such as Nova, Apex, Go Launcher, etc.

Am using Nova Launcher Prime (paid version) and it allows resizing the icons and fonts.

Tomorrow 27 May 12pm, 5000 Redmi out for sales again. I guess this round is easy to grab because many people is waiting for the Redmi 1S at better spec and same price.

The 1S model is now allowed for preorder in China. Just pay in full and wait for delivery in 3-4 weeks for your order, no need to rush to grab.

unfortunately singapore is only the "test" market to them, small market. maybe only a small city in china. they still have so many bigger ones like malaysia, hongkong, taiwan etc etc...

it's just that singapore consist of a more accurate representation of the technology market i guess.
