Sorry guys if this question sounds noob.

My redmi still has 1GB free avail internal storage,
But the camera does not let me take any more pictures.

I checked the space and noticed that although there is still 1gb free "internal storage", "phone storage" is empty.

What is the difference and how do i resolve this?

It's probably best to add a MicroSD card to your phone so that all the photos will be saved to that instead.

It was never selling @ $199. All telecoms are selling @ $169 since day 1 for non-contract, but need to buy extra goodies to get it.

hi everyone!

im facing some issues with my redmi, it either keeps hanging at low usage (eg. just a browser opened) or all the essential apps keep crashing (settings, launcher, keyboard, playstore services etc).

so i have to keep rebooting my phone, sometimes after rebooting it goes back to normal, sometimes i have to reboot many times like 5 times before its back to normal.

any idea what i can do? reset to factory default? or is there an easier way without touching my data?

Yeah, should be something like that. $299 is Mi3 price, while Redmi 1 is $169.

maybe check if insufficient storage? if so, you may have to uninstall some apps

Yup there is sufficient storage space on both internal memory and sd card.
My redmi is unrooted, and yup bought it via official website.

Have you got themes installed? Only once did I experience my phone keep crashing until I realized one of the theme is the culprit. Since I deleted that theme, no problem now

Applications like facebook does not load on my Hongmi when it is connected to WIFI. However, when I turn off the WIFI and connect to 3G, it works.

i tried changing the theme back to the last non-problematic one and it went away for awhile. Now its back again, just less frequently.
