would you guys think its better to solve hair loss if we had shorter hair?

like easier to apply direct to scalp and all. compared to longer hair.

Just wonder Rogaine foam is better or Rogaine Liquid is better?
Heard that applying Rogaine will make your hair greasy or messy?

Anyone can advise on the cost place on hair transplantation? After the transplant, do we still need to take propecia to maintain the rest of the hair?

yes otherwise, ur other hair will drop off and the only ones left are the transplanted ones...

and all these negative talk abt propecia are abit off... its scientifically proven that only a small % will get affected... if its so bad then why r the hair transplant docs recommending u take them?

also when one grows old, it is inevitable ur kkj will not be as strong, whether u haf hair or no hair... just look at ur gong, u will know liao, having difficulty moving and running ard, no need say sex... hence it is unfair to put ALL the blame on propecia...

There's been no long term (>10 yrs) results as to the long term side effects. Btw, if anyone thinks the FDA is a credible organisation, think again. There are tons of drugs being recalled all the time, with some infamous cases (shall not dig up, but easily found on google) of drugs causing heart attacks, and then later being recalled. The FDA cares more about making money than it does for anyone's health.

PostCountWarrior[+1]: Cos propecia can give better overall results for a patient's HT. As i've said in an earlier post, just read up online about DHT and what it really does in the male body. Put it this way, the body does not recognize hair loss as an 'illness'. It's simply our genes responding in a bad way to DHT. So it's not some sort of 'evil hormone'. DHT plays a critical role in the development of the male genital. I am not trying to scare anyone here. Just go read for yourself. At the end of the day, if your dick goes limp, Merck/FDA/insert any other drug organisation is not gonna be the ones suffering for it. It's your own body, so be sure to take utmost care

I said it in an earlier post.. but think it's better to say it again. Hair transplants are not a cure for hair loss. The hair you transplant might not bald, but the areas BEHIND the transplanted part will recede eventually (unless you're some sort of super responder to propecia, which 99% of guys are not and eventually end up thinning out anyway). So you will always be playing catch-up to your hair loss, by going for more and more transplants, unless you don't mind a frankenstein look with only the hairline with some hair and a bald patch directly behind it.

The donor area is limited, so there will eventually come a day when there's no more hair available to transplant. And of course, the cost is astronomical. Even if you go thailand for a HT with a doc like Dr Pathomavich (good credentials on the hair restoration site), you're looking at easily 9k and above for one session of 2k+ grafts. There are, of course, tons of cheaper docs around, but you don't know the quality of their work, so why risk it?

Long story cut short, hair transplants aren't THE solution and will never be

where u read about propecia?? if u go to their main webby or read their pamphlet , of course they will say only a small % get affected

hair xplant docs r recommending it because that propecia is more or less the only popular drug around. u wouldnt want yr doc to say yr hair has no cure right? so of couse they have to recommend something.

when u take propecia especially in yr 20s , dont have to wait unitil u get old to see the effect on yr kkj. the effect will come the moment u start taking the drug everyday. of course how bad it is depend on individual.

n there are reports that some ppl took quite a while to recover from the side effect even after stopping propecia. some didnt even recover fully. their kkj cant peform as well as before they take propecia..

put it in this way propecia is stopping the body from producing dht hormone that has a part to play in yr body. when that goes missing, yr body is screwed up. side effects happen sometimes so slowly until u dont realise it.

for ppl who have taken this drug for very long, i think its impossible to recover fully.

all in all if u want take the risk, do it but be mindful of the consequence

Does anyone experience Hair Regrowth besides stopping hairloss after taking propecia alone?
How long can we see positive results after taking propecia?
Anyone can share their success story after taking propecia?
