there are some things you can do for hair thinning issues, first being inversion method. lie down on your back and let your head hang down and massage your scalp for about a couple of minutes, once a day. it rejuvenates and nourishes the roots. i have tried Kaminomoto Super Strength Hair Serum and it works to strengthen and repair hair damage. you can get it in some online shops and shopee too.

I visited a derma doctor in local hospital and he mentioned this low level laser therapy might help my thinning issue.

First he mentioned this Hairmax brand but I did a quick check lately and found this product called iRestore Professional. 400USD off and free gifts on Black Friday Sales.

Maybe someone who uses LLLT can give their verdict.

Just came back from NSC.

Doc suggested either Finasteride or Minoxidil. Both have have about the same effectiveness but former has potential side effect of sexual drive and prostate cancer. So I took the latter 5% to try for 6 months and see how the results are. If results do not improve, then doc suggested to try Finasteride.

I also just came back from NSC and got 2 months supply of finasteride. At first the lady told me one box $60+ make me chua tio then I say heard got $12-14 one and she switched from branded to generic finasteride which was $11.20 per box. Something to take note for anyone getting new prescription there.

To those who are taking finasteride, aren't you all worried about the potential side effect regardless how low the chances are? I cannot accept the benefits-cost analysis result....yet.

Anyone tried Viviscal? Read reviews online like not bad. Anyone tried natural remedies like applying castor oil to scalp?

I initially took propecia but it's too costly about 100 monthly, so switch to proscar then cut into 4 parts. The same 100 is now quarterly instead of monthly.

I am hesitated to try minoxidil because I'm having hairloss mainly at the template area. Read that it doesn't help and to apply twice a day seems a bit of a hassle.

So oral medicine like Finasteride to maintain and slow down the process.

Anyone need proscar let me know. I got one extra box to sell away. Bought in Malaysia, expiry is July 2021. Pm me. Thanks.

Don't trust any supplements or vitamins.
Go with the basic stuff medically proven such as Finasteride or minoxidil.

I have tried many supplements and etc.. Nth works for guys..

Serious question here. Do you completely stop masturbating when you were on finasteride?

no, just less interested to do it, like rather do other things. :s13:

1 major effect is very difficult to get it hard, took longer. I went to see urologist, I asked him isn't it irreversible, he told me no, just stop taking...

Not trying to scare u all from taking, maybe I am just one of the few that experience the side effects. It did help to slow down my hair loss when I was taking, now my hair lesser after stopping for quite sometime already, just hack care, i am not young anymore also...

Dont mind can share which doc? Also, is it really the same effectiveness? Have been using minoxidil for 2 years with no effect... worried that finasteride may not work for me too
