my doctor prescribed me with minoxi5 and not regaine as some people use.What is the difference ah?Anyway minoxi5 is cheap at $50 at hospitals.

And what are the possible causes for hair loss besides genes cause my parents dont have.

Wah, the lasercomb sounds really exciting...So tempted to buy one too. The results looks so amazing on the website. Pls let us know how it goes. Right now, I am using Propecia, Nizoral, Minoxidil and many supplements but still my temples are still showing. Am 32 but I think I look 40 = ((

Thanks a lot Asytope and Isopropy for the tips on where to get Tricomin, will get it this Friday. Hopefully, it works well on me.

Anyone knows if it's costly to do hair implant just for the temple (2 sides)? May consider it if it's not ridiculously expensive.

a little heads-up for ppl who have trouble with ppg in minoxidil..

after going off minoxi5 for abt 1 month since the unbearable itching, i thought maybe i could change my usage pattern instead of junking the $50+ bottle into the trash bin..

instead of applying minoxidil and leaving it there for the whole day, i figured maybe i could use it 1hr-2hrs b4 bathing/shampooing my hair.. (note: it is advised in their instruction sheet that minoxi5 should be left on the scalp for 2hrs)

i started with 1/2hr long sessions.. no itch.. den went on for 1hr for abt a week, and now i'm on to 2hrs straight b4 washing off the minoxidil..

add: it might also help to clean up the affected scalp with wet tissue b4 application

i suggest you try to keep track of its effects, be it hair on bed sheet, after shower, during shampooing... 2% is rather strong..

started out with 2% myself to be honest, using it ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTION, which isnt daily iirc..

i den slow it down to 1% using it daily, and then 4 times weekly, slowly dropping off to 2 times weekly.. now i'm just using the 1% nizoral once a week, and i dont see any sharp increase in the amt of hair comming off

its pretty obvious if you ask me.. b4 i started on nizoral, just rubbing my scalp, i would see 5-6 strands on the table.. clear it n rub again, anther 4-5 strands and yes it sure is depressing.. now? i find it difficult, even, to pull strands of hair out of my scalp without the accompanying pain

Hair transplant depends on the number of follicles. They cost around the range of 10k.. or even more.

Guys do note that even changing the brand of minoxdil will cause heavy shedding, observed by some users. So stick to one brand. Some minoxidil are not as greasy as some brands.

Alrite placed my order for the lasercomb today, will get it on next wed . Will post the results for you guys.

Uhm, it is recommanded to use Nizoral 2-3 times a week.. It is quite taxing on the scalp, as it may cause ur scalp to be too dry. Use normal shampoos on other days when not using Nizoral.

I dont really use Nizoral, not much money to pay . Anyway it is written there as to treat dandruff.. but some believe it does help in MPB.

if anyone is interested, i have rogaine 5% minoxidil ( FOAM version instead of the liquid form, which is better as it is easier to apply and dries faster so you can easily fit it into your everyday routine ) : ) cheap too

any guardian pharm should have them. i bought mine at orchard. next to cali fitness. somerset MRT. i also find it impossible to use everday. drys the hair damn fast
