how long have you been taking propecia before seeing good effect?

you can get them cheaper at M'sia or Thailand.

Thailand is the cheapest I have ever seen. I ever bought SGD$63 for a box in original packaging.

haha i just come back from national skin centre.............

hope 3 months later can see hair re grow back...........



for hair transplant : u have to find a plastic / cosmetic surgeon in the hospital or private clinic etc.....

i think hair transplant is the last resort.

i got another friend losing hair one , he go to NSC twice a week to do some laser therapy thing whereby they shine some light bean on your head to simulate regrowth.........

More than 6mths, i went to gleneagles hospital, after a few visits, i brought the medication fm a clinic near my hm. Does JB sells it ??? Need doctor's letter before i can buy? Thanks.

BTW i was in bangkok a few mths back is true.... they r selling around 60plus...

2008 is coming. Hope it will be a breakthru year for hairloss.
We can't afford to wait any longer or else our hair follicles will be gone forever

i chance upon this thread while lookin for help over the internet. very worried now
My head has been shedding lotsa hair for the past 3mths during washing.. even short hair keep dropping as well after my haircut, one shower can cause my head to shed up to 20+ hair and thus i doesnt feel happy showering my hair now..
i can see that my head is thinning with white line patches including the temple area. My scalp is itchy and oily at times with dandruff but that has always been the case since few yrs back.. but right now my hair is really dropping at an incredible rate even when i apply wax on it.. the hair will fall off !

i would like to know if i did not make an apt at NSC thru polyclinic, can i pay more in order to book the apt within 2 days ? and how long will i know the results for the blood test ?

oh, it's nice to hear that. I may be too self conscious and i hope my hair loss is not the beginning or something. be it i am balding or not, but i am fighting the battle with all bros here. praying for that affordable and easily available breakthrough cure here.

i am in china now FYI, when i walk on the street, i see 80% of the people are having balding problem.

Is losing 5-10 strands of hair during shower normal?

And should we shampoo using warm or cold water?

I like hot showers, and my family always says I am showering using too hot water. Is it bad for the hair and scalp?

yes it's normal to drop just 5-10. Losing 20-30 is considered normal enough also. I'm not sure how hot will hot be though.

5 to 10 strands i very little leh, when i style my hair using clay and wash my hair, can see so many strands on hairs.. so don't worry...

Yeah, I guess temperature is relative.

But my family always comment I shower too hot (apparent from the misting and humidity in the shower room). So I'm a little concerned..
