Government finasteride pricing all should be the same across the board. I think it’s all generic now anyways.

Btw, finasteride under government clinic is considered cosmetic medication, but still cheaper than private clinic.

Maybe see other clinics to find a nicer doctor or don’t like current doctor. Distance also may be another factor.

Not sure if the pricing is the same across all govt clinics, as for NSC's doctors, confirm always different one unless the patient requests to see the same one every time...better to let the person who asked exprain himself :)

Yeap. Government system is different doctors unless paying as private patient. But there are times when a doctor can be assigned to one patient on a case by case basis, perhaps by request or some other reason.

For whatever reason a person decides to choose one hospital/clinic over another, the standards are pretty much there for our healthcare system.

My doctor, Dr Daniel Chang, gave me a simple drug free programme of topical minoxidil, light therapy and regenera. If you are keen, can PM me and I share with you more.

There is a new product which is much more effective then Minoxidil Minus the side effects. Search NeoFollics Lotion. Available in all Sg online platforms.

Finasteride Prescription

Hi,

I got an appointment at NSC in December where I plan to get a Finasteride prescription but that is still many months away.

Does anyone know if it is possible to see another clinic for a prescription (for hair loss of course)?

you can just go any GPs, but the price of the finasteride will probably be 2 to 3 times higher.

Hello! Just wanted to share with everyone what i found out! Finasteride at NSC is sold at 13sgd per month supply. It is unsubsidised price and you need to get a consultation for male hair loss and prescription to buy. Alot cheaper than what you find outside. Imagine if you need eat finasteride the rest of your life i think the best way is to go the National Skin center route.

Next time be a smart consumer.
Google first.

Beijing 101 is a smelly business.

just sharing, i also had pretty bad experience with yun nam. i signed up for a trial, ended up with hardsell from them, when i refused to buy package from them, they just did a very quick (sloppy) session for my trial..

also i noticed that during the initial assessment, when "checking my scalp and hair condition", i was quite sure that the therapist smeared something on my scalp, so where she showed me my scalp condition using the scope, we saw lots of whitish oily substance on my hair and scalp. she then claim that they are “螨虫”, pest/worms living on my scalp, causing the hair loss. then after my short trial treatment, she showed me the same area and the whitish substance was gone "proving" that their treatment was effective.

anyone else heard of worms growing/feeding on scalp causing hair loss?:eek::eek::s13:

I was told by GP to walk in because hairloss is considered as cosmetic.. how you get referral? Unsubsidized consultation damn expensive zzz.
