Does anyone know which private dermatologist is willing to prescribe oral minoxidil for hair loss??? Recommend pls. I’m already on 1mg of Fin daily. Thinking of adding oral minox as topical is just too troublesome long term.

I've just consulted with doctor for replenishing propecia in another GP and this doctor recommended me to have 'autologous skin micrograft'. He said I can see the result in 1 month. It costs 3k SGD. Anyone having this before and what's the result? He said the procedure is similar to PRP

honestly i have been looking for a solution for 10 years already. whatever people say good/advertise i try. in the end only Rogaine, Propecia, Revita Shampoo works.

best to start treatment asap to save as much hair as possible and higher chance of regrowth.

Rogaine Foam somehow works better than topical solution. i think it covers the area better. use twice a day.
can get from Ebay local seller. fast shipping. half the price then get from guardian.

Revita shampoo - no need to try any other shampoo. i tried almost all. only this works. abit expensive but its all worth it. come in 2 sizes. the big bottle can use a long time and value. can get from lazada or shopee. using their conditioner 2 to 3 times a week help ur hair become less dry and healthy. drop lesser.

propecia - ur last resort/desperate attempt. have side effects. get from hospital. need see doctor to get. one tablet a day.
Bro, do u have the link for the Rogaine shampoo? How long to use before we can see the results?tks

Is this the Regenera Activa? I’m also thinking of trying this out.

It’s a scam, don’t fall for it.

It’s another one of those snake oil scams lol. If you look at all the data on PRP, all of them were very poorly conducted with no placebo groups and not double blinded studies either. Most of the studies are in fact funded by the people who are selling the PRP treatment as well. If you want to spend 3k for something legit, might as well go for mini hair transplant.

Besides hair transplant , got any other recommendations? Hair transplant is too expensive and downtime too long for me. I’m thinking of getting the Viviscal Men hair supplements . Not sure if it might work. Hair loss is really damn frustrating.

I tried viviscal supplement, spent like $100 on a box of tablets but no use at all. Later on I went to search online and found out to be one of those fake supplements. Also when using viviscal I got watery semen, don’t know why.

If I’m not wrong, if your hair loss is genetic which is androgenic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness, only Finasteride or Minoxidil will help. Topical minoxidil can be found over the counter at any Watson/Guardian outlet. Finasteride requires a prescription from dermatologist.

Instead of taking the oral pill, there are topical finasteride preparations ( scalp lotions etc ) made by compounding pharmacists . Will still require a doctor's prescription

Do compounding pharmacists in SG generally make topical finasteride preparations, or does one have to go to select ones? Thanks.

Used to used nizoral but stopped long time ago, wondering if anyone still using nizoral shampoo with 2% kercotone?

Been hearing some good reviews on this AFC Shokaigan shampoo also, anyone using?
Been using this with growell shampoo and growell hair loss lotion for a couple of months for my hair loss issue which had been ongoing for years.

1.There had been a noticeable reduction in hair fall based on what I see on the toilet floor trap.

2. My hair looks and feel fuller now which I think it's due to the growell shampoo vs my previous head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo. My hair does not feel as limp as before.

3. There were 2 circles of hair loss patterns on the sides of my head which seems to be caused by fungus based on my online research. These 2 bald spots seemed to have improved /become smaller since my use of the Nizoral shampoo.

All in all, I think this combo seemed to work for me😁😁😁

Did you manage to find where to get Oral Minoxidil in singapore or from any website that's able to deliver?

I know Shiro Aesthetic is able to offer, but they only willing to sell 1MG maximum.
it's like $3 per pill, compounded with finasteride.

Happened to see this post....

The sad truth about hair loss with age is that it is programmed if the guy's genes are like that. No amount of ingesting tablets or applying hair medication can help stop it. Otherwise the very rich celebrities would have paid top money to save their hair.

Don't even bother with all those hair salon shops, eg normal salons or the notorious Beijing 1*1, Yun*an, etc. They are good to clean your hair (which you can do on your own also!) but they won't work if your genes predispose you to hair loss.

Think about it: You also only go there like once a week or once every few weeks and the sessions are not cheap. How are those few treatments per month going to help anyway when your hormones that cause hair loss work on your body 24/7?

Minoxidil might work for only some men but even then, it's a little help only. Only helpful for top part of head Same as Fines though some say it's more effective but it comes with some side effects on male fertility.

Many of the Before and After photos selling hair tonics are either edited (Fake!) or they comb the hair in such a way to make it seem the hair has grown more.

Anyone able to get rogaine at cheaper price than at nsc? I saw a retailer in shoppee selling sgd80 for 3 months. Nsc is selling at sgd120+ for the same.

having use finasteride for the past 2 years i noticed my hairline is still decently protected.
for finasteride to be more effective, is best to use it when one is younger.

as for the male fertility side effects, just don't take it on the days one need to plan for a baby.

got 2 friends that avoid taking finasteride, one is a single (don't know when can get a partner), another one is in the process of getting a BTO and haven't had wedding dinner yet.
now i got more hair than both of them.
