if i not wrong, you are talking about Corticosteroids.

cortiscosteroids is an anti-inflammatory agent. it is use either in topical, oral or injection form.

cortiscosteroids have been found to grow hair but it anti-inflammation action also prevent skin from repairing itself therefore destroying your skin through skin thinning. it work by blocking the production of substances that trigger allergic and inflammatory actions.

strong cortiscosteroids is not something you want to use. in my previous post, i have mention about using 1% Hydrocortisone cream which you can obtain cheaply on your scalp. Hydrocortisone is the weakest form of cortiscosteroids and should be safe to use on your skin.

2% is over the counter so you'll have to ask for them. I believe 1% is off the shelf. most pharmacy should have, you can try guardian.

hei hugo ,like ask qns below as dunno been asked before :

will the 1% generate hair growth in the front portion of head /hairline n is it avail. in NTUC Unity also ?

does this interfere with other hair products like shampoo ,spray ( mi using organ. shampoo with hair aresol spray ) ....

what is the problem of going down to any pharmacy and ask for the price of growell? is it really that hard? it can be found almost anywhere.

i really hope you guys are not old enough for voting. hope the next general election you guys will do better than this.

GuGuJiAO:

you do not need any prescription. just ask the pharmcist for it. and if you are ask have you use it before, just tell them yes, to avoid long explaination from them unless you want to find out more. most NTUC unity or guardian should carry it.

HmMmMm:

yes, you can gel your hair after using minoxidil. but do give like 10-15mins allowance before using gel. you are trying to use gel on your hair not on your scalp to have the effect so try to get minimum gel on your scalp. not that it does any harm.

Hi guys, i have 3 x 60ml bottles of Regaine 5% to let go because I've just started on Propecia and the doctor recommended I stop Minoxidil while on Propecia. Call 81616016 if you're interested. Hope to deal in the North. Thanks.

look like we be having cheaper finasteride very soon :)

artoflife:

get on some proscar instead of propecia. you save alot of money. and there is no reason to stop minoxidil while on propecia. using both products give you the best result.
wow.....good news indeed.....who know's, it might send proscar's price falling as well.....

i do not think that proscar price will fall. drug price normally do not fell due to generic version coming out. just look at rogaine, the price is still sky high. at most they will come out with their own generic brand.

but who care about the brand as long as we are getting the real deal at a cheaper price :)
