how to c ? actually i m worried. when i shampoo my hair these days, i found out tat my hair loss problem is getting serious. now i dun even dare to take a pic of my head.

Unless u are pretty sure that urs is MPB otherwise. u can go to NSC for detailed analysis of ur hair problem. The specialist can straight away tell u if u are suffering from MPB or if u can't swallow the truth, u can actually request the specialist to do a blood test , hair bulb test on u etc which I did b4.

If u are living in the east side, u can go to CGH.

b4 u go to any of these places, u must make an appointment through phone.

To enjoy subsidized consultation fee, u may approach ur polyclinic doc and requests for a referral letter b4 heading down to NSC/CGH

or better if u are serving ns, u can approach ur medical centre , seek ur MO and request for referral letter to NSC. U need not pay for consultation fee

Go see a Doc if it is mbp, if it is, finasteride will reverse the hair loss. It takes a few years for the follicles to die. If you get treated so early, you just reverse the follicle into active stage and you get every strain of your hair back.

i use tat shampoo cos last time i hav very thick, dry, frizzy and damaged hair. btw, my hair start dropping a few month ago and i started using tat shampoo around 2 mths.

@ the moment most of ur hair are okay except that spot but if u dun want to seek any help from any doc (gp or nsc), ur condition might get worsen. i'm not trying to frighten u. i myself is also suffering from hairloss & is using minoxidil which will take some time to be effective.

I suggest u to visit ur doc to determine what causes ur hair loss. It maybe due to stress, diet etc.
U must take action immed as u are young, u have higher chance of gaining back ur hair.
just wonder,

1) how often do u ***?
2) Do u exercise?
3) What's ur diet like?
