From the looks of it, you won’t be able to get your money back so soon. The entire thing about the custom issue is a ******** story. They don’t even take watches from overseas. They buy from local suppliers and go all around entire sg and buy from shops just to meet the customer orders. Basically selling at a loss.
they only will fulfil the small watch orders. Those 20-30k range. Big watches. Can forget it.
I do not know exactly what is their reason behind such a mode of business. Business operation wise, to me it doesn’t make any sense. But I do know is many are affected. Numbers in terms of thousands I can say, that haven’t got their refunds or watches as yet.
If this were to pop out in the news or made known to regulatory, I think luxury industry will have additional regulations. Many people will not get their money back.
so please, in the future buy the seller first. Do not simply make a purchase or give upfront full payment when the price is super cheap. Do some due diligence homework about the market prices and also the seller. Don’t because of cheap few thousand on a watch then become now cannot eat cannot sleep. Totally unnecessary.
