Like that better to go grey if u looking at YM. Many of them playing stick and carrot game. U most likely "lose" money on 2 omega, 1 jlc, some cartier in hopes of getting YM.

SA didn’t say I should buy those to bundle ah. Just that I bought/buying Carter/JLC so thought using this purchase history maybe can higher chance get allocated.
SA usually won’t take initiative to specify what you should buy to get allocation. Usually it’s up to you to suggest and then they will advise if it qualifies. Since you mention about hoping to get a YM, so I was wondering if you did discuss with your SA what you need to buy to get allocation for YM. You asked about the JLC, so I thought it is among your plan to use this and Cartier to get allocation for YM. I feel it’s better that you ask with specific details or else the whole thing might go nowhere,

Still, those are watches I/my family wants. Rather than buying unwanted Hublots haha.

Why you can’t believe people can collect watches outside of Rolex? Lol

I know someone who collects Lange, JLC, Omega, Bvlgari, Cartier and he hardly have any Rolex watches. Only one Rolex.
My intended collections are VC, Patek and Lange as well. No intention to collect Rolex.

No AP to complete the holy trinity for you sir?
Imo AP now has really fallen. They are just a royal oak company now with not much innovation. Eg the new music edition royal oak is so cringe. Like they are catering to teenager hype culture now. Not that interested in royal oak. If Lange is a Swiss company they should replace AP in the trinity.

If they want to buy other watches to build a relationship that’s their prerogative. If they like they keep, if the don’t they resell. They got money to burn what’s it to you? Why sound so salty sia. It’s not a good look.

People have been bashing AP as a one trick pony for years but the RO models are still as hot as ever. I would say as long as they keep innovating in terms of complications and materials, AP will still be thriving

I’m not talking about whether AP is going to make money or not. I don’t really care if AP watches are popular or not, just like I don’t care if Rolex sells a million watches a year. It’s just that their brand image has moved to a point where I’m not their target market anymore.

Some people salty that others have money to spend and have interest on brands outside of Rolex…

Some watch enthusiasts is of the same view as you. just not long ago, their release of the marvel series aka the black panther attracted quite a bit of criticisms.
The music edition is not bad looking imo but looks more like a fashion watch than a high end Swiss luxury watch to me.

Didn’t know about the black panther but damn that’s even worse lol. Even Rolex don’t do these kind of collabs that lower their brand value.
