You mean yacht master?

Yup ref 126622..

While I have purchased from them before (steel datejust 41), I gave up on waiting for any rolex sports model to be honest unless you have spent significant amount of $$$ with them on other purchases.

I guess this is how the market is right now...thankfully it encouraged me to look at other brands.

which colour dial?
sounds like they desperate for cash

I was enquiring on the black dial.. blue dial not available in their market according to the sales manager
Leaving ~30k sgd with them really big risk

any one monitor their rolex accuracy regularly.. mine is only 3 mths old.. in the begining within 2sec a day...have not been wearing much but regularly wind it up to keep it running non stop throughout the ** but notice the accuracy now is like slow 5sec a day (24hr )

did i get a lemon ?

I had a similar issue when I get a used milgauss. Then I tell the seller to help me service. After the service, it's running within 1 second a day.

I guess it might be helpful to go back to your AD and tell them about it, send it back for watchmaker to take a look.

My GMTII also running fast(er) than usual when left on the watch winder

Haven't worn it in over a month plus and compared to my YM on the same winder, it's faster by nearly 4 mins :s22:

oh? you purchased yacht master blue dial from grey market? if dun mind, can let me know which grey market you purchase from? May can PM me?

cos I would tot that yacht master might be easier to get from AD, I would prefer to get from AD. but is plan to buy from grey market, I would consider to get a Sub date instead. In dilemma, I don't if I should wait for the covid-19 to get well first and travel around to find Sub or Rootbeer or I should just get from grey market. >.<

PM-ed you. I didnt get it in the end and went with another brand instead. I have a personal preference for getting watches from ADs too and got tired of getting countless rejections from walk-ins and email enquiries to the ADs here..

Good luck in your hunt but i honestly doubt the virus situation here will affect the local ADs in terms of demand for sports models..maybe overseas is a different story.

surprisingly the dj41 is picking up in demand. pre covid seen the price asking above retail for the fluted dj41 jubilee.

probably need to wait for quite a while if never purchase from AD before.

Just sharing my friend and my experience at Ion Hourglaas. We walked in randomly and talked to one of the staff there and kind of sort of clicked and maybe chatted for one hour talking about watches.

After a few weeks,my friend was offered a submariner no date and I was offered an explorer 2. End up my friend picked up the submariner no date and I didn't pick up the explorer 2.The staff was telling us that you need to have some purchase history with them etc.

no, for Hour Glass, sub no date can get without purchase history. Sub date and above need purchase history.

Any opinion on fluted or smooth bezel? Both looks good!
